How can I capture my senior-year friendships? Throughout my three years of attending boarding school, I have created many lifelong friendships that will last a lifetime. These subjects, in my images, are indeed the people that have made my senior year and high school. My goal for the portfolio was to create and capture candid moments and memories of my senior year through photos. I succeeded in this ambition by bringing my camera to as many places as possible and shooting genuine moments with friends.
Through my sustained investigation and talking alongside my peers, I have learned how important the choices we make in life dictate our future and path post-high school, as my photos have done for me. I revised my sustained investigation ideas by learning shooting in the studio produced the best pictures for me, so I continued to shoot in the studio. I experimented with primary colors throughout and different people to make my images diverse. Finally, I practiced by taking more than 300 photos for most of my shoots, always refining my technique.
