Set up your studio like the photo above
Ensure that you place the studio strobe light behind the subject to illuminate the backdrop
Set the strobe light setting between 4.0 and 5.0
Position the subject in front of the strobe light to block it from the cameras view
Set up the LED blacklight to illuminate the subject, either by setting it on a table or having a volunteer shine it on the subject
The camera settings may need to be adjusted but attempt shooting with a high ISO >1600, a quick shutter speed, and the aperture around 5.6
**Camera settings from two of my final photos
For this shoot I applied the paint directly onto my subject using a small paintbrush. The paint placed on the subject will be illuminated by the black light wherever it is shone. I would suggest playing around with different colors of UV paint and trying out different applications styles on the model prior to the shoot. Some paints will be more reactive under the LED light than others!
