Use Adobe Illustrator to create 3 hearts on 3 separate 16inx20in documents, each smaller than the last one, and make sure the stroke is set to 0.001pt.
Download each heart onto your computer, then send them through email to cec001@blair.edu.
Get 3 pieces of 16inx20in of foam board, and place one into the top left corner of the laser cutter.
From the cec001 email, download each document onto the computer next to the laser cutter.
Open the first document, then set the settings to match whatever material your board is (there is a stack of different materials, and they will tell you what settings to put the laser cutter on)
Turn on the ventilators in the laser cutter, then follow all the steps of the laser cutter manual, and it will start cutting out the desired shape.
Take out the first piece after itβs done cutting, then place in the second board in the top left corner.
Repeat steps 5,6,7 with your next documents and boards until all are cut.
Take the boards with the cut out shapes, then bring them outside and place them a few inches apart from each other.
Take whatever color spray paint you want, then spray paint each piece until fully coated.
Let them dry completely before taking it back inside.
Stack the boards, with the biggest heart cut-out in front, to the smallest on in the back.
Use 1 inch thick pieces of board, then stick them between the boards using a hot glue gun to combine them to give the set depth.
