See the country through the people. These photos document the beauty of Costa Rica that I was able to experience combined with photos of the people who live there. The portraits are a mixture of pictures of the people interacting with me as I was able to experience their country as well as photos of people going about their daily lives. The images of nature display the different scenic places I was able to visit, including beaches and small towns. 

This portfolio is comprised of different photos to portray Costa Rica through different styles of pictures. Photos 1, 6 and 10 show the people as they were interacting with me as I took a segway tour through a small village on the coast of Costa Rica. These photos represent the breif moment I was able to share with them despite our different cultures and backgrounds. Photos 3, and display the times that I was able to see people going about their daily lives and when I was truly able to experience a part of their culture and the see the way they live. Photos 7 and 11 show different places where I was able to experience the true beauty that can be found in Costa Rica through the scenery and nature. In photo 2 I show how while I was there I was surrounded on all sides by different aspects of nature, whether it was the scenic beaches or the palm trees surrounding me. Photo 12 is my favorite picture from this collection, as it shows the silhouette of someone riding off into the sunset. This picture truly captures the carefree way the people of Costa Rica live and the way they are able to appreciate the beauty of their country even though they are surrounded by it every day. All of these pictures show different memories and things I was able to experience during my trip to Costa Rica.
