Nature is the art of God. I took a journey deep into nature showing the world how God intended it to be. Without man nature looks beautiful. The world without being interrupted is when it is at its best. Thus means a lot to me because I grew up outside in nature, and enjoy being surrounded by it.
My journey through my concentration, was also a journey through nature. Each one of my shoots I would go to a remote area and try to find the best images I possibly could. The photo of the monkey, and the sea turtle were taken in a remote area the island Barbados. I captured these animals in their natural habitat and tried my hardest not to disturb them to get the most original photo possible. Another shoot I did was in the Delaware Water Gap between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I went to the Gap right after a big storm so no one else would be there to get photos of nature uninterrupted. I found some interesting waterfalls and decided to play around with stop motion and shutter speed to try to capture the movement of the water. I use stop motion shutter speed to capture fast motion of water, and took pictures of water where it seemed still. I also tried to capture water in the frozen state. a lot of my concentration pictures have some sort of theme of ice. My favorite image of ice has to be the berry and the frozen Bush being the only sign of life in the area. The color of the berry stains out specifically surrounded by the dead frozen thornbush. These pictures show the point of my concentration being nature should be untouched and left alone and it's beauty only to be admired not destroyed.
